The “switch target” button works pretty well — much better than some mech games. It seems to select the next target based on distance, and that makes sense in many situations. But I’d like to be able to lock the target I’m looking at (and keep it locked until it’s dead or I hit the switch target button).
But if the devs don’t want “look-at” targeting, then I’d like the “switch target” button to cycle through all the enemies until I stop hitting the button.

Hi think first.A nice suggestion. Something can be done about this in the future. Thank you for your suggestion.

I agree I’d like to lock the target I want not what the game thinks I want. On many occasions it doesn’t see the bot that is directly in front of me and the closest bot that is not cloaked. This has resulted in several unnecessary deaths. I’ve had to swing my aim wide and swing back several times before it finally saw the bot that was now destroying my bot since I couldn’t lock onto it.
Targeting should lock onto whatever bot is in your crosshairs until it’s dead or your crosshairs are moved elsewhere. Whatever bot is in the crosshairs and within range should be hit until I chose to select a different target by moving my crosshairs.
